Clothesline Therapy

There is something about the simple act of hanging clothes out to dry that lifts my spirits.
~stepping out into the quiet morning~
~the sun on my shoulders~
~the sounds of the birds and bugs in the trees~
~keeping an eye on the woods, hoping to see a deer wander by~
~a grateful heart for where I get to live~
And maybe, the best of all, sleeping in sheets that have been soaked in sunshine.
My idea of luxury

Your clothes look so bright and colorful! I could do without the bugs in the trees though. You have such a gift for bringing the beauty out in everyday things. Love ya pizana!

Hi Laur
Well, I didn't mention I also keep one eye out for palmetto bugs that might want to fly into my hair. :)

Laurie's version:
There's something about hanging clothes on a line that creeps me out.
The sound of the bugs.
The look of the bugs.
The crazy bugs trying to get me as I whack at them with the portable clotheline poll.
Bugs--I hate that they ruin everything!
Stupid bugs.
